there\u2019s always so much to do.
Sometimes I need a little engine to get myself moving \u2014

There are things I have<\/em> to do, things I want<\/em> to do, and things I should probably<\/em> do. Music helps too \u2014 something upbeat, or like background music at a caf\u00e9. In the morning, my brain doesn\u2019t work very well, and I often mix up the order of those.
So I set aside the \u201cshould probably\u201d tasks for later,
and focus on creating an environment where I can stay motivated until my head clears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If I put on YouTube, trending songs, or the radio, I end up paying too much attention to them,
so I go for records instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
so I usually pick ones that say \u201cGreatest Hits.\u201d<\/em>
I\u2019ve made plenty of mistakes buying records just because the jacket was cute,
so now I stick to hit collections.
Even if they\u2019re just one or two dollars,
you can\u2019t really go wrong with jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
